As with many
new breeds, the
risk of inbreeding
is quite high.  At
Vanyar and our
associated
breeders, we do
not inbreed
under any
circumstances.  

To keep the lines
healthy, strong
and true to the
original vision,
we diversify our
lines using
appropriate
outcrosses.  
Unfortunately,
there are some
Elf breeders out
there that are
not.  I will happily
provide you with
a list of approved
Elf Breeders.
